Thioredoxin Systems AB has patented “Antibiotic compositions comprising silver and selenium” (WO2018104777). This patent covers the fundamental aspects of our EbsArgent® antimicrobial technology. The application was filed in 2017 and is today granted in both EU & US, protecting the technology until 2037.
Additional patent families
The company has also patented “Composition comprising selenazol or thiazolone derivates and silver and method of treatment therewith” (US11013730) in the US until 2036. “Method of treatment of Helicobacter Pylori infection using PZ25 (ebsulfur)” (US8592468) is also protected in the US until 2027.
